NEW & INTERESTING BOOKS

Mahboob Shah has translated the Laws into Urdu and we offer these for sale. We hear that Japanese and Italian translations have been made but we have not yet been able to obtain supplies.

Alan Tuffery has given some interesting anecdotes and personal insights into various laws.

Don Oslear gives a history of ball tampering and Jack Bannister covers bribery allegations in detail.

Derek Hibbs has had to reprint his Scorers’ Handbook to meet continuing demand.

Gerald Brodribb’s classic "Next Man In", published in 1995, has not received the attention it deserves. This is the third edition covering the history of the Laws, quoting incidents that have triggered off changes to Laws, and many unusual events. Thoroughly researched and updated since editions in 1953 and 1985

George Pickford’s "Do you know the Laws?" is useful revision material containing graded questions suitable for both Part One and Part Two examinations. The answers are cunningly arranged to prevent accidental cheating.
