When is it?                                       Sunday 9th August 2009

Where is it?                                      On a nice big lake

Be more specific!                           Oh sorry, “Chasewater” Country Park, Brownhills

What time?                                       Arrive on site from 8.30-9.00am      First races start 10.30am

Prizes are given out at around 5.00pm.           Well, we are an ambitious society after all!

Will it be fun?                                   You bet!!

No, be honest, will it be fun?       Yes, it really will be lots of fun!                             But don’t take our word for it:

I’d gladly swap all 5 of my Olympic gold medals for a pop at the Dragon Boat Race 2009” – Sir Steve Redgrave                                                                                                             “Dragon Boat racing with the Audley Aquanauts beats walking on the moon any day!” – Neil Armstrong

Do I need to be physically fit?    You’re kidding.  Do we look fit?!  (see photos)

How much will it cost?                 £30 will secure you a place in history in the boat.           That covers hire of the boat, a big black paddle, a lifejacket (you’ll need thatJ) and a designer outfit. Well, we’ve designed it.

Do I need to get sponsorship?   We’re glad you asked.  Ideally, we’re looking for every crew member to raise a minimum of £100 in sponsorship.

It sounds fantastic!!!!!!                   You don’t know the half of it!

What do I need to do?                   Please contact Valerie on 01782 722452

E-mail vab101@o2.co.uk  if you have any questions and to confirm your participation by no later than  1st June 2009
